Bills OT Cyrus Kouandjio becomes U.S. citizen

Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio officially became a U.S. citizen on Thursday in Buffalo.

Born in Cameroon.
Raised in Maryland.
Schooled in Alabama.
Naturalized as a US citizen today in Buffalo.

Kouandjio and his brothers came to the United States with their family from Cameroon as pre-schoolers 19 years ago, according to Alabama.com. His brother, Arie Kouandjio, a guard for the Washington Redskins, received his citizenship about a month ago.

Upon entering the U.S., he was reared in Maryland, where he was an All-American high school football star.
