Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien could be on the move come season’s end.
According to FootballScoop O’Brien is a potential candidate for the open head coaching position for Virginia Tech. The Hokies recently fired head coach Justin Fuente after six years with the program with games remaining on its schedule.
O’Brien, who is in his first season as the offensive play-caller for the Crimson Tide, has prior head coaching experience at the college and NFL level. He served as the Penn State head coach from 2012-13 and helped revive the program amid the Jerry Sandusky scandal.
