The Nebraska Cornhuskers head football coach Matt Rhule has opened the door for discussion about whether playing a spring game in the transfer portal era is worth it.
Alabama football traditionally plays a spring game in April, and it gives a glimpse into what the Crimson Tide will have at their disposal in the upcoming season.
Rhule feels this may not be the best thing to do in the current college football landscape.
“We were one of the more televised spring games, and I dealt with a lot of people offering our players a lot of opportunities after that,” Rhule said.
