The University of Alabama baseball team has put itself on solid footing by winning its first two SEC series. As the Crimson Tide hits the road, it will try and put itself in even better position for the next part of conference play.
UA travels to Georgia this weekend, then travels to Kentucky the following weekend. That stretch includes seven of nine games played away from Tuscaloosa, including six SEC games.
“You’ve got to hold serve,” head coach Mitch Gaspard said Monday. “This league is about trying to win (the) series. You look across right now, and it’s going to stay that way, the teams are jumbled in there tight.
