Bear Bryant’s great-grandson is a high school quarterback getting recruiting attention from – who else? – Alabama.
Paul Tyson (6 feet 4, 210 pounds) plays for Trussville (Ala.) Hewitt-Trussville and will be a junior this season. While he doesn’t have any official offers yet, he is receiving recruiting attention from the Tide.
He recently attended Alabama’s “Junior Day” and told 247Sports.com it was an experience he will not soon forget.
“It was awesome,” Tyson said. “A great experience. Getting to see the campus and weight room and everything about it. Got to meet Coach (Nick) Saban one-on-one.
