ATHENS, Ga. - Alabama baseball secured the 10-7 win over Georgia in 13 innings on Thursday evening, outlasting the Bulldogs in a 5:12 contest that ranked as the second longest in Crimson Tide baseball history. With the win, UA improves to 16-9 overall and 5-2 in SEC action.
In a back-and-forth contest, Alabama was able to secure the win with three runs in the 13th and final inning. The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs were even at 7-7 after eight innings, but needed five more to decide the final outcome.
