TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - A pitcher's duel between Alabama and eighth-ranked Ole Miss fell in favor of the Rebels, 4-0, on Friday evening at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide was shut out for the second time this season and move to 20-14 overall and 6-7 in conference play.
"The last two Fridays Geoffrey (Bramblett) has certainly pitched well enough to win," said Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard. "He gave us the long start and pitched extremely well, and I thought it was one of his better outings. He's done a hell of a job for us on Fridays, giving us an opportunity to win each time out.
