LEXINGTON, Ky. - Alabama baseball fell victim to a walkoff grand slam, as the Crimson Tide suffered the 6-2 loss at 19th-ranked Kentucky on Saturday afternoon at Cliff Hagan Stadium. The Wildcats claim the series victory with the win, and UA moves to 18-13 on the season, 5-6 in conference play.
Kentucky loaded the bases in the ninth with no outs before the Tide brought in Jon Keller. The senior left-hander struck out the first batter before giving up a walkoff grand slam to end the game in the Wildcats' favor, 6-2.
"We've had two well-pitched games to put ourselves in a position to win," said Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard.
