OXFORD, Miss. -- The Crimson Tide offense erupted for 13 runs on 17 hits to help Alabama baseball secure the 13-4 victory over Ole Miss on Sunday afternoon inside Swayze Field. With the win, Alabama avoids the sweep and improves to 23-20 on the season, 8-13 in conference play.
"I thought our team did a good job of taking care of business and focusing on what was in front of us," said Alabama head coach Mitch Gaspard. "We got off to a good start offensively, and we had real nice production throughout the lineup, one-through-nine.
