TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama baseball has signed junior Tanner DeVinny, head coach Mitch Gaspard announced Monday morning. DeVinny comes to Tuscaloosa from Grayson (Texas) Community College, where he spent last season. He is immediately eligible to participate in team activities with the Crimson Tide.
DeVinny finished the 2015 season batting .296 (55-186) with 12 home runs, 47 RBI and 53 runs scored, while adding 34 walks across his 54 games played. He helped lead the Vikings to a 37-17 overall record.
Prior to his time at Grayson, DeVinny played his freshman year at Kansas State.
