TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor has not played in Saturday's opener against Western Kentucky after suffering an injury in pregame warmups and isn't expected to return to the game.
Proctor, the Tide's starting left tackle, was dressed out initially and went through the first part of warmups before going to the locker room with what Alabama officials said was a shoulder injury. He returned in street clothes and was wearing a sling on his left arm under his shirt. Elijah Pritchett started in place of Proctor at left tackle.
Proctor played as a true freshman last season for Alabama.
