Bad weather doesn't keep Scott Lashley from UA announcement

Bad weather prevented Scott Lashley, one of the top football prospects in Mississippi, from making a public announcement at West Point High School on Tuesday, but some quick improvisation allowed Lashley to make big news anyway by committing to the University of Alabama.

Lashley, with the help of his coaches at West Point, made a video of himself in a jacket and bow tie, choosing from three hats -- Alabama, Mississippi State and LSU -- before picking the Crimson Tide just a day before National Signing Day.

"I'd like to thank all three schools that recruits me," Lashley said in the video.
