The transfer had been rumored for a few weeks but on Monday, Avery Johnson Jr. announced that he would transfer to Tuscaloosa and play basketball under his father Avery Johnson, the new head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide.
The younger Johnson tweeted out on Monday his intentions that “life comes at you fast, but sometimes you got to put your seatbelt on”.
