Gus Malzahn is worried about Auburn being ranked 5th in the brand new Birmingham Bowl rankings that were released Tuesday night. Auburn’s head coach is concerned that if Auburn doesn’t win out they may be left out of the Birmingham Bowl entirely.
The College Football Playoff rankings weren’t the only rankings released tonight, and the Crimson Tide weren’t the only Alabama football program waiting anxiously to see where they would be ranked. The Tide were ranked 4th in the College Football playoff rankings, much to the chagrin of angry TCU, Baylor, Ohio State, and Auburn fans.
