The Atlanta Falcons earned a spot in Super Bowl LI by beating the Green Bay Packers 44-21 in the NFC championship game on Sunday.
The Falcons will make their second Super Bowl appearance. Atlanta lost to the Denver Broncos 34-19 in Super Bowl XXXIII to cap the 1998 NFL season.
Wide receiver Julio Jones (Foley, Alabama) paced the Falcons with nine receptions for 180 yards and two touchdowns. Jones caught a 5-yard touchdown pass on Atlanta's final snap of the first half and a 73-yard touchdown pass on the Falcons' second snap of the second half.
Jones came up 2 yards short of his franchise single-season record for receiving yards in a postseason game, but he did become the first player with at least 150 receiving yards and two TD catches in two conference-championship games.
