TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Graduate transfer Arthur Edwards has been named to the Southeastern Conference’s Community Service team, the league office announced on Friday.
In his lone year in Tuscaloosa, Edwards has made a large impact by volunteering his time within the community. The Washington, D.C. native has built a house with Habitat for Humanity, visited patients and staff at the VA Medical Center and spoken at local elementary schools about the importance of staying in school.
Over the Christmas holidays, he worked with Project Angel Tree in Tuscaloosa, spending time with children whose parents are incarcerated.
