During a punt return in the first quarter of the Alabama-Arkansas game, Razorbacks backup tight end Nathan Bax attempted a “gator roll” tackles on punt returner DeVonta Smith.
This play is categorized as one of the dirtier plays in football as the tackler attempts to sprain the ankle of the player with the ball on the ground.
The broadcast pointed out the play and as expected many Alabama fans were infuriated online.
Thankfully for Smith, he was able to stay in the game and continue to play.
