Are Alabama’s tight ends primed for breakout game against Tennessee?

Alabama’s tight ends have been used sparsely throughout the first six games of the season. That trend could change in week eight against Tennessee.

Alabama offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan has certainly limited the amount of production that the tight ends have been able to have through the air. Altogether, Alabama’s tight ends have combined for 21 receptions for 235 yards and one touchdown. Given Tennessee’s struggles to defend opposing tight ends, this seems to be the perfect time to utilize the tight ends in the passing attack.

Alabama tight ends CJ Dippre and Josh Cuevas have made the most of their opportunities thus far.
