ATHENS, Ga. | Nick Chubb tied the great Georgia legend Herschel Walker on Saturday with his 13th straight game of rushing for at least 100 yards.
The only problem with that was at the time it occurred, Georgia trailed by an insurmountable 31 points.
The talented sophomore running back finished the game with 146 yards on 20 carries. Twelve of those rushes went for three yards or less. Early in the game, with Georgia trying to force its will on Alabama, Chubb was a non-factor.
At the end of the first quarter he had 13 yards on six carries.
