If Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper can produce his fifth 100-yard receiving game of the season on Sunday, the former Alabama All-American will become the ninth player in NFL history with 1,000-yard seasons in each of his first two years in the league.
The Raiders host the Carolina Panthers at 3:25 p.m. CST Sunday. The CBS TV affiliates in Alabama will televise the game.
The Panthers rank 26th in the NFL in passing defense, yielding an average of 271.7 passing yards per game.
Carolina has allowed only two players to reach 100 receiving yards in a game this season, but they were way over 100.
