Ale Kaho backs out of pledge to Utah, commits to UCLA Bruins

A former University of Alabama linebacker had a change of heart about transferring to the University of Utah; however, he is still attending a school in the Pac-12 conference.

On Monday, Brandon “Ale” Kaho committed to the University of California at Los Angeles.

He announced the news on Twitter as he joins a program in need of a linebacker. A native of Reno, Nev., Kaho was a core special teams player for the Crimson Tide from 2018 to 2020. He was on two Southeastern Conference title teams (2018, 2020) and a national championship roster.

Alabama fans wish him the best as the latest member of the UCLA Bruins.
