AL.com All-Access: Who is the second-best coach in the SEC?

There was a time when, heading into SEC Media Days every year, our famous former colleague Paul Finebaum wrote an annual column ranking the league's coaches, one-by-one.

It was an admirable undertaking, and it caused controversy on an annual basis. But SEC coaches aren't what they used to be.

In years past, we've had up to four coaches with national championship rings in the league at the same time (Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Urban Meyer and Les Miles all coached in the SEC as recently as 2009; Saban, Spurrier, Miles and Gene Chizik were all in the conference as late as 2012).
