Looking at some key third week games and one must wonder if LSU's showdown at Mississippi State will be for second place in the SEC West.
The overreaction is that Auburn's season is looking like another 8-4 campaign, but Clemson's defense is really good. However, Auburn has to make some changes and get better offensively. Jarrett Stidham obviously didn't see these defenses in the Big 12. But, it's still early.
Alabama looked like it just wanted to try a few different things against Fresno State. The animals aren't quite there on defense, but the Crimson Tide still look like the best team in the West.
