As you know by now, the Urban Meyer situation at Ohio State finally reached its resolution on Wednesday night, as the Buckeyes head football coach was suspended three games for allowing assistant coach Zach Smith, an alleged serial domestic abuser, to remain on his coaching staff despite numerous red flags.
There are a lot of different angles to this story, so I figured we'd touch on some of them one-by-one here. So here goes:
1. Was the punishment sufficient?
So Meyer will sit out through the Buckeyes' season-opener against Oregon State, then return to coaching during practice the following week.
