New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram's first 1,000-yard rushing season in the NFL vaulted him into second place on Alabama's all-time alumni list.
After Ingram ran for 1,043 yards in 2016, only Shaun Alexander has more NFL rushing yards among former Alabama players than Ingram.
While Ingram isn't halfway to Alexander's career total of 9,453 rushing yards, the 2009 Heisman Trophy winner passed Wilbur Jackson and Tony Nathan during the 2016 season to reach second place on the Crimson Tide's NFL career list.
Ingram's 1,000-yard season was the 10th by a former Alabama player.
