For the first time in six years, Alabama finds itself in an unfamiliar spot.
It will not go to the College Football Playoff and unless Georgia shocks LSU in the Southeastern Conference title game, it also will not be in a New Year’s Six Bowl. While nothing has been determined yet, some projections have the Crimson Tide in the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.
After losing at least two games this season for the first time since 2013, the conversation has been about Alabama’s run of dominance being over. The Crimson Tide was in this same spot during 2013 and 2014, but Nick Saban got it back to the top of the mountain in 2015.
