He may not be a Heisman Trophy finalist. But Jonathan Allen continues to be feted.
On Wednesday, Allen became the first Alabama player to ever win the Ted Hendricks Award, which is given to the nation's top defensive end.
Allen received the Bronco Nagurski Award earlier this week and is a finalist for the Walter Camp Player of the Year Award, the Chuck Bednarik Award and the Lott IMPACT Trophy.
Allen has been a key contributor on a unit that leads the nation in total and scoring defense and has produced 10 touchdowns -- the highest figure in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
