Three finalists were selected for the Fred Biletnikoff Award on Monday, and neither DeVonta Smith nor Jerry Jeudy of the Crimson Tide made the cut. Named after College and Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver, Fred Biletnikoff, the Biletnikoff honor is presented annually to be nation’s best receiver in college football. Jeudy won it last year as a sophomore, posting 1,315 receiving yards with 14 touchdowns on 68 catches. He will not be able to retain his crown.
He chimes in this season with 66 catches (team-high) for 933 yards and nine scores.
