Alabama's Jake Coker building confidence after breakout game

Forgive Alabama quarterback Jake Coker if he celebrates a little longer than he normally would after a big touchdown pass these days. He’s been patiently waiting for his turn to arrive, so he may seem a little out of character.

The guy who pumped his fist after a 45-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Ridley isn’t who Coker, a reserved guy, really is. But he couldn’t contain his feelings after a big play in the biggest game to date.

“I usually don’t feel too much emotion, I guess,” Coker said. “It’s hard not to in those big games, though, and I had a lot of fun out there.
