Alabama fans may finally see the wide receiver it has been waiting for this weekend.
Tyler Harrell, a transfer from Louisville, arrived in the summer as an elite speedster. He averaged 29.1 yards per catch and eight touchdowns in 2021 for the Cardinals. As a South Florida native, Harrell is an explosive playmaker but suffered a foot injury before arriving in Tuscaloosa. He has yet to make his debut for the Crimson Tide, but positivity surrounds him for Saturday as Coach Nick Saban updated him in Wednesday’s SEC Coaches Teleconference. Per Saban, Harrell could have played last week.
