Alabama’s offense has missed two wide receivers from its passing game.
It could return both players for a matchup versus Arkansas in two weeks. JoJo Earle, a sophomore from Texas, suffered a foot fracture during preseason camp. He was performing well in practice and had positioned himself to be the starting punt returner and possibly a starting receiver. Coach Nick Saban said Earle would miss six to eight weeks, but he mentioned the former four-star could be back by October. Earle is progressing with Jeremy Gsell, Alabama’s Director of Rehabilitation, in pushing to return.
