Jim Nagy, the executive director for the Reese’s Senior Bowl, posted on Twitter last week about his thoughts on DeVonta Smith being Alabama’s ‘most complete’ wide receiver in 2019.
After seeing this, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine not only composed an article but also discussed the topic on Monday via In My Own Words.
The junior from Louisiana is coming off a season where he led the Crimson Tide in receiving yards (1,256), touchdowns (14) and yards per game average (96.6). Smith had three 100-yard performances – including a pair of 200-yard games versus Ole Miss (274) and LSU (213) at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
