Alabama wide receiver ArDarius Stewart did not play Saturday in the Crimson Tide’s 31-3 win over Chattanooga for breaking a team rule.
Stewart dressed for the game but not see play.
“Sometimes we have players that have violation of our standard of behavior,” coach Nick Saban said after the game. “Everyone wants to play. Sometimes when you have it, you just tell guys, ‘Well, we’re not going to play you.'”
Stewart, a redshirt junior, also missed two games earlier this season after spraining his knee.
Without Stewart, Alabama receivers combined for 136 yards and three touchdowns on 15 receptions.
