Alabama Women’s Basketball won another Iron Bowl contest Monday night, downing Auburn in an overtime Barn-Burner. The Crimson Tide Women got the payback win against the Tigers after losing an earlier game in Tuscaloosa.
The Crimson Tide won 63-61 and it was anything but easy. Sophomore Janiah McKay was offensively almost unstoppable for the Tigers. She scored 29 of Auburn’s 61 points.
Alabama had a more balanced attack with four players scoring in double figures, led by Hannah Cook with 15 points. Bolton had 13 points, Lewis 12 and Knight 10 for the Crimson Tide.
As it was in the earlier match in Tuscaloosa, turnovers plagued the Tide.
