Alabama Women’s Basketball: Crimson Tide Falls Short in Upset Bid

In the last home game of the regular season, the Alabama Women’s Basketball team battled heroically against the Missouri Tigers but fell short in a chance for an upset, losing 65-56.

Junior Quanetria Bolton led the way with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Freshman Jordan Lewis added 12 points including going 3-for-3 from the free throw line.

The Crimson Tide shot 38% from the field to keep pace with the Tigers. However, Missouri shot 44% from 3-point range for a total of 30 points with half of those points coming in the fourth quarter. Alabama only made nine points from beyond the arc for a 29% shooting percentage.
