TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Tcheneavia “Coco” Knight and LaKyesha Stennis have both signed national letters of intent to suit up for the Crimson Tide women’s basketball team, head coach Kristy Curry announced on Thursday.
“We are excited to add Coco and LaKyesha to our 2016 class,” said Curry. “Both will provide depth and experience to the perimeter and will provide quality minutes for our team to be successful. These young ladies have had success at their previous institutions, and we are looking for that to continue at a high level.”
Knight, who recently finished her second season at Shelton State Community College, was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America Second Team after leading the Buccaneers to a third place finish at the national championship and the District N championship.
