Alabama women have one last shot at road win

The University of Alabama women’s basketball team has one last chance to win a regular season game on the road. It’ll play No. 16 Mississippi State on Sunday for its shot at redemption.

Alabama coach Kristy Curry said the team plans to draw from its prior road experiences, and she feels like the team is on the verge of doing something special outside of Tuscaloosa.

Regardless, there’s no ignoring Alabama’s 0-9 away record.

“Believe me, it’s very clear on our minds,” Curry said. “We know why we haven’t and I think that we’ve learned. When you look at how we’ve been on the road, we’ve just continued to claw and fight and scrape as I say.
