Alabama secured the win tonight against LSU in dramatic fashion, winning 80-79 and assuring that an SEC Tournament Championship will be returning to Tuscaloosa for the first time since 1991. Alabama is now 18-0 when scoring 80+ points on the season. Offense was not at a premium at all during the contest, with both teams scoring a total of 159 points.
Nate Oats in just his second season has Alabama at the top of the Southeastern Conference.
