Tyrell Shavers is a rising redshirt junior. In his two seasons at Alabama, he has caught only one pass - a 20-yarder against Western Carolina this past season. He also recorded one rushing attempt for 14 yards against Mississippi State in a 38-7 romp in November.
The hope for the former No. 88 overall player of 2017 was that he could use his 6’6” height to his advantage. With Jerry Jeudy and Henry Ruggs III off to the NFL, it was thought that he might find his way into a rotation that often implements four receivers.
