Running back Adrian Peterson's return to Minnesota will be the focus when the New Orleans Saints kick off their 2017 NFL season against the Vikings on Monday night.
In 116 games across10 seasons in Minnesota, Peterson ran for 11,747 yards and 97 touchdowns, won three NFL rushing titles, earned seven Pro Bowl invitations, made All-Pro four times and received the NFL MVP Award in 2012 - the only non-quarterback to get that honor in the past decade.
"Going back to Minnesota where I spent 10 seasons, seeing those guys and being in that stadium again for me, personally, it doesn't get any better than that," Peterson said.
