The right side of Alabama’s offensive line is about to do some work.
After stating all week that Chris Owens (knee) was ‘very questionable,’ Nick Saban confirmed during his “Hey Coach” show on Thursday that Landon Dickerson will start at center versus Texas A&M on Saturday at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas.
The 6-foot-6, 308-pounder makes his second career start at center.
His first start came against New Mexico State and he was incredible, anchoring the offense to 603 total yards – including 310 yards rushing. Alabama totaled 62 points and Dickerson did not allow a sack or quarterback pressure in 48 snaps.
