Nick Saban continues to shake up his coaching staff going into the 2022 season. According to reports from BamaOnLine and ESPN, Alabama is expected to hire Kentucky offensive line coach Eric Wolford to the same position replacing Doug Marrone.
The report from ESPN states that Marrone is expected to make a return to the NFL after one season as the offensive line coach for the Crimson Tide.
This will be Wolford’s third different stint as an assistant in the SEC as he previously served as the offensive line coach at South Carolina from 2017-20 before joining Mark Stoops and the Wildcats in 2021.
