Alabama tight ends coach says Crimson Tide fans will ‘learn quickly’ about transfer tight end

The coaching staff for Alabama expects big things from CJ Dippre and Robbie Ouzts, but is a third tight end ready to pop?

Bryan Ellis, the Crimson Tide’s tight ends coach, is excited about Josh Cuevas. The transfer from the University of Washington played on a Pac-12 Championship team and appeared in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game in 2023.

Cuevas attended California Polytechnic (Cal Poly) State University in 2021 and 2022. He earned third team All-Big Sky honors his second year in 2022, following a season of 57 catches for 622 yards and six touchdowns.
