It’s dead week at the University of Alabama. Students have stocked up on energy drinks and power bars as they seclude themselves in study halls across campus, beginning the arduous task of sifting through handwritten notes, transcribing lectures and crafting 10-page essays. But the Alabama swim team is taking a break from studying to bask in the success of the 2015-2016 season.
It’s starting to become a trend.
The University of Alabama swimming and diving teams, for a third year in a row, held a record-smashing ceremony Tuesday on the deck of the Don Gambril Olympic Pool in the Alabama Aquatic Center.
