One Alabama player that is being thrust into the spotlight this off-season is quarterback Austin Mack. Mack’s teammate, Alabama center Parker Brailsford spoke on Thursday about Mack’s growth and maturity since he arrived in Tuscaloosa.
“I’ve seen Austin kinda grow since he’s been here,” Brailsford said, “I’ve seen him get a lot more confident. He’s a lot more decisive with some of his reads and things like that. I’m excited for him.”
Mack is in the thick of one of the most anticipated quarterback battles in program history. The 6-foot-5, signal-caller was reported to have had a strong performance during a practice earlier in the week.
