Alabama football fans enter the 2017 season with as bad a taste in its mouth as you can imagine, tempered by optimism for the incoming youth movement. We’re not going to rehash the disappointing ending to 2016, but, it is safe to say that the Alabama team that takes the field this year will look — and likely play — very differently than last year’s 14-1 SEC Champion, national runners-up.
We begin our coverage at the beginning, with the schedule and the new and shuffled faces on the coaching staff. Over the next month, Alabama will have 15 scheduled practices, which includes a spring game, a closed scrimmage for boosters, and a scrimmage open to the media.
