Tuscaloosa News

The Crimson Tide softball team finished up opening weekend at the UCF Knights Invitational, winning 10-2 against the Liberty Flames. Alabama played just six innings against Liberty, attributing its success to a solid offense.

The Tide (4-1) scored in five of the six innings, including a five-run third inning that helped Alabama gain some cushion room. Sydney Littlejohn, junior, won her first game of the season. Littlejohn threw for four innings, allowing four hits and two runs. Alexis Osorio closed out the game, pitching for two innings. Osorio had five strikeouts and allowed two hits.
