Alabama Softball pitchers were almost all the Crimson Tide needed on Wednesday night in Tuscaloosa. Starting pitcher, Sydney Littlejohn, and reliever, Alexis Osorio combined, shutting out the North Florida Ospreys by a final score of 2-0.
Sydney Littlejohn got the win after going 5.1 innings. Alexis Osorio got her first save of the season taking the last five North Florida batters down, all by strikeouts.
Alabama opened the scoring in the bottom of the second with a home run by Caroline Hardy. It was Hardy’s first career home run. Coach Patrick Murphy commented at http://per http://rolltide.
