It was at this point in the Alabama softball season a year ago when everything was called off. The Crimson Tide (14-8) had just taken two of three from Arkansas and was starting to look like there was light at the end of the tunnel.
This year is different in many ways. For beginners, when the Tide takes the field against Tennessee on Friday, they will surpass last year’s threshold of cancellation.
