ICYMI: Crimson Tide Report—Alabama Football’s Toughest Month
On Tuesday, the Southeastern Conference announced the 2016 Softball Awards and of course, the Alabama softball team was well represented.
The Tide placed one player to the First Team All-SEC and four others were also named to the Second Team All-SEC, All-Freshmen, and All-Defensive Teams.
Outfielder Haylie McCleney was Alabama’s only representative to the First Team All-SEC. Pitcher Sydney Littlejohn and first basemen Leona Lafaele was named to the Second Team.
Catcher Reagan Dykes earned All-Freshmen Team honors. Lafalele and McCleney also got nods for the All-Defensive Team and left fielder Kallie Case joined them.
